Dive into everyday life
and discover the extraordinary
with contemporary art in Delft.

17 October 2019 - 16 February 2020

This fall the world famous Narrow House by top international artist Erwin Wurm can be seen for the first time in the Netherlands. This unique house (16 m long, 7 m high and only 138 cm wide) will be on display in the majestic Old Church in Delft, where everyone can view and enter it.

Narrow House is the eyecatcher of Extraordinary ordinary: a manifestation of contemporary art about everyday life organized by exhibition space 38CC. The event at various locations in the city center of Delft runs parallel to the Pieter de Hooch exhibition in Museum Prinsenhof. This 17th-century artist captured daily life in his paintings. Now more than 20 (inter)nationally recognized artists show their vision on everyday life at Museum Paul Tetar van Elven, Kadmium arts center, 38CC, around Museum Prinsenhof and of course in the Old Church.
